The bride’s mother chose a peach tea-length dress accented with a white collar. Her corsage consisted of silk sweetheart peach and seafoam green roses accented with ribbons and baby’s breath. ,
The mother of the groom chose, a street length floral dress with; a white collar. Her corsage was identical to the bride’s mother’s.
Mrs. Brenda Sacco, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Punch was served by Mrs. Cathy Pullen and Ms. Etta Estes, friends of the bride.
The wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Harold Eaton of Culpeper. Mrs. Edie Falls, friend of the bride, served the wedding cake.
The floral decorations and bouquets were made by Mrs. Mildred Atkins of Culpeper. •;
Wedding coordinators were Mrs. Mildred Atkins, Mrs. Joyce Wharton and Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at their home on Aug. 30.

The bride is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Atkins of Sperryville and Mrs. Josie Wharton of Woodville and the late Mr. Oscar Wharton. ,
The groom is a grandson of Mrs. Eva Dodson of Sperryville and the late Mr. Ollie Dodson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cave.
Following a wedding trip to West Virginia the couple are residing in Sperryville. ;
