Sperryville’s Apple Harvest Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6. The event is sponsored by the Sperryville Business Council and will be held rain or shine both days.

The festival will feature special antique sales at the Sperryville Antique Market. In addition there will be a bake sale sponsored by the ladies of the First Baptist Church, ‘ Washington.

Apple butter boiling, children’s games, crafts and live entertainment can be found at That Sperryville Emporium.

Christmas decorations of every sort, size and shape can be found at The Church Mouse. Baked goods by Heidi Eastham will be available in their parking lot. The Seprryville Fire Department will also be set up in their parking lot selling hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks.

Faith Mountain Company will feature hot cider and dips. The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community (RAAC) will be selling beer and popcorn. Faith Mountain and RAAC will also provide ^continuous live entertainment and will feature local band 522 Bluegrass. ' Southern Drawl Artworks, a fine arts gallery on Main Street in the historic village of Sperryville will feature Luray artist Gary Saylor at noon on Saturday and Sunday. At noon on Sunday caricaturist Peter Scott will be available.
