The county Extension Advisory Committee and Board of Supervisors. lobbied two of Rappahannock’s representatives to the General Assembly at lunch Monday.
Del. Jerry Wood, D-31st., who repj"esents the county in the House of Delegates, and Sen. Edgar Robb, R-25th Dist., who represents Stonewall-Hawthorn District in the state Senate, heard presentations about services provided by the Extension Settee to residents and youth of the county.
Helen Smith, Home Economics Extension agent, gave a talk on the background of the Extension Service and let others tell about how they benefit from programs provided by the extension service.
