The 1992 Virginia Beef Seedstock Breeders Symposium will be held Monday, Nov. 30 at the Ingleside Hotel at Staunton. This outstanding program is designed as a one-day in-depth educational event for purebred breeders, commercial cattlemen and professional workers and allied industry personnel.

The theme is “Facing The Issues in Producing And Using Optimum Seedstock.” Dr. Rick Bourdon from Colorado State University will speak on the subject “Breeding Optimum Seedstock-Trade-offs in Prioritizing Selection.” Dr. Dave Notter, Virginia Tech Animal Scientist from Blacksburg will handle the topic “Real Breed Differences That The Breeder & Cow-Calf Producer Must Know.” Dr. David Nichols, an Angus, Salers and Simmental breeder from Bridgewater, Iowa will speak on the subject “Breeders Must Face The Issues - From Small To Tall, Where Do We Go From Here?” Dr. C.K.
