The PTO would like to give special thanks to Kirk Hahlgren, Director of the RJR Nabisco Next Century Schools program, for speaking at our Oct. 6 meeting with Project Casper (Computers and Students in Partnership for Educational Rewards). Anyone interested in finding out more about this new approach to teaching and learning is encouraged to contact Mr. Hahlgren at the School Board office.

Our November 3, agenda included Capt. Jeff Brown, of the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office, who spoke on behalf of the D. A.R.E. program (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), and Judy Tole and Joyce Brown of C.C.W.H.Y. (Community Coalition Working for Healthy Youth).
