They want a monopoly so they can keep on charging you high prices for your groceries year after year.
If UFCW Fat Cats are successful in keeping all non-union competitors out, your grocery prices will increase up to $455 per person, a year. You can do the math, but for a family of four, that’s $1,820 a year! The last thing the UFCW Fat Cats want is for stores like Food Lion, Price Club and others to come into your hometown and charge you 10% - 30% lower prices.
