Longtime members of the Community Concert Association are accustomed to bargains, but what the CCA has come up with now may be its best yet.
The all-volunteer association is offering an extra attraction in its 24th season, which starts in October. And, without sacrificing quality or variety in the musical productions it is known for, it is holding the line on prices.
There will be five CCA performances at Culpeper County High School, compared with four in the ’92-93 season, plus the usual eight performances offered by associations in Manassas and Fairfax that are free to CCA members on a reciprocal basis.
An adult who sends in a membership fee before May 1 and attends all 13 shows will be spending $1.69 per performance. The early-bird membership fee is $22, just as it was last year.
The regular fee for the season is $25, also the same as last year’s.
