Benefit bake sale
An Easter bake sale sponsored by the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will be held from 7:30 p.m. until noon on Saturday, April 10 at the Rappahannock Fanners Coop. Anyone wishing to donate bake goods should call Mary Lou at 675-3790 or the shelter at 9373283.
Miss Rappahannock pageant
The annual Miss Rappahannock beauty pageant sponsored by Sperryville Rescue Squad will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 at Rappahannock High School. Rehearsal will be held at the school at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 22.
The contest will include girls ages 2-19 and boys from 2-6 years old. There will also be a mother-daughter contest. For more information call Ann Markham at 987-3122 or Gail Deal at 987-8182.
4-H Dog Obedience class
The 4-H Dog Obedience class will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on April 19 at the Rappahannock Recreational Center and continues for 10 weeks (skip Memorial Day). This class will be taught by Don Neilson and we have 12 children enrolled. If you have not signed up call 675-3619 by April 16 to register.
