Happy Easter this Sunday to everyone. Let’s not forget the real reason - the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Many services in the area will commemorate this special event.
Amissville United Methodist invites everyone to the following special events:
At 7:30 p.m. on April 8, Maundy Thrusday, communion service.
At 2 p.m. an Easter egg coloring at church on April 9. All children are invited.
Good Friday service with a slide preogram on “Station’s Of The Cross” at 7:30 p.m. on April 9.
An Easter egg hunt will be held at 2 p.m. at the church on Saturday, April 10.
Easter sunrise service at 5:40 a.m. with breakfast to follow in the social hall. Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. followed by worship service at 11 a.m.
Passion play portrayed by children will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 with refreshments to follow in the social hall.
Pastor Weems and the congregation invites you to come and join in the celebration of this very special time in our Christian year.
Culpeper Assembly of God at 120 Chestnut Street will hold a pageant at 7 p.m. on Saturday and again at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Thanks for remembering my precious great nephew, James Caleb, son of Amy and Sam Smith, Jr. of Front Royal. He’s in UVA awaiting heart surgery. He was born on March 30. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
