At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, the music will be like that heard at a well-known New York night club in the ’40s and ’50s. “A Night at Eddie Condon’s” will feature cometist Ed Polcer and the Condon All-Stars playing New Orleans, St. Louis, and Chicago jazz.
Finally, at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 9, the music will be primarjjy. contemporary. Pianist-composer Peter Kater, whose work ranges from classical to contemporary jazz, will perform. Kater has had a string’ of successful albums and has written- * many scored for the theater and for TV. He lives in Rappahannock! * County.
Performance in Manassas will ber by Cantabile, a male quarter; NeifRamsay, saxophone, and a strings
quartet; Terrence Farrell, classic^ guitar; and Markham and Broadway, a paino duo. Performing in Fairfax will be the Vivaldi Orchestra of Moscow, the Tony Sandler Christmas Show, the Dallas BraSsr; and “A Broadway Celebration.” - ■
