A Certificate of Candidate Qualification

An election of Directors for the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District will be held in the general election on November2,1993. The District encompasses the Counties of Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock, including any incorporated towns therein.

Candidates for elected directors must reside within the boundary of the county (includes incorporated town(s) within the county) which such candidates shall represent upon election. Two directors shall be elected to represent all the citizens within each county.

Nominating Petitions for the office of Director, and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed with the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Soil and Water Conservation no later than 7:00 p. m. (E. D.T.) on June 8,1993. A Certificate of Candidate Qualification must be filed with the State Board of Elections, 200 N. 9th Street, Room 101, Richmond, Virginia 23219-3497, no later than 7:00 p.m., June 8,1993.
