missing gun?

To the Editor:

On Sept. 22, 1990 I wrote a check to the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department for $60. This money was for two tickets in their raffle for a gun, in which a total of 52 winners would receive a gun. Lfelt $60 was a lot for a raffle, but I knew that it was also a donation*to help the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department.

In February of 1991, I received a call at my home notifying me that I had won a .30-.30 gun. I was excited, it was the first time I had won anything, but now my excitement has turned to disappointment and anger. As of today, April 8,1993,1 have yet to receive my gun, and my check has long since been cashed.

I have made numerous calls to the people of Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department concerning this matter. My call to them have either
