Culpeper but most of it is in Rappahannock County.
Does anyone find it unusual that 937 can call locally all the way to Germanna College (in Orange County; almost to Fredericksburg) and to Wolftown (in Madison County, almost to Charlottesville). Amissville (937) can call locally to Sperryville, as it should be able to; but must call long distance half way there to Washington, Va.
Does anyone know of any reasons other than greed why years ago Washington and Flint Hill could call Huntly and Front Royal locally but no longer can.
Does there exist in Virginia any other counties with a toll call line thru the center of the county. Washington to Rock Mills is a toll toll.
Does anyone think this unfair situation would continue if the powers that be in Rappahannock told C & P and Centel to fix the problem or lose their franchise. There are other phone companies in Va.
Does anyone think Centel and C & P would disconnect the whole county if everyone did not pay their bills until this unfair situation changes. Why can 937 call more than 2 1/2 county and 675 only 1/2 of a county.
Does anyone else even care?
