Tracy Lynn Hitt, a rising senior, will be attending the Governor’s School for the Arts studying vocal music at the University of Richmond for four weeks. She is a soprano and had to win acceptance in a regional audition.
Guidance counselor Joyce Brown said that the school is very pleased that these two students were selected. “A lot of kids wanted to go,” she said. “It was pretty competitive just to be nominated from here.”
