The auction will be held July 23 * at the Amissville Fire Hall and fea* tures a $1,000 raffle ticket drawing. I The funds will help sponsor 24-30 ' boys at the camp at Virginia Commonwealth University. Coach Leake hopes to field two varsity and one junior varsity team. Arts Program
! There are still several spaces open and scholarship assistance available in Ki Theatre’s Summer Program in the Performing Arts for TJeenagers ages 13-18 to take place July 12-August 1, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3p.m. ! Call Ki Theatre at 675-1616 immediately to be considered for a spholarship, to receive a registration from, or for more information. Scholarships are based primarily on financial need. j Teens will study theatre, voice, dunce, and stagecraft as well as rehearse for a production. The session will culminate in two performances f$r the public given by the participants. The program is open to all interested teenagers; no experience is necessary.
An enthusiastic staff of professionals including Sharon Wyrrick, Director and dance instructor, Beth Levick, voice instructor, John Landis, drama instructor, and Kathleen Gallivan, stagecraft instructor will create a non-competitive environment for students to experience *.tf»ese performing arts disciplines.
