Food needed for parade night It is carnival time in Amissville, almost, and the folks at the food stand are in need of chicken, fried or uncooked, potato salad, deviled eggs and cakes for the dinner boxes to be sold on Thursday, parade night. Band to perform Typhoid Mary, a group of Rappahannock County musican will be appearing Friday, June 25 at The Concert Cave in Manassas.

Natural history camp registration Registration is open for the sixth Natural History Day camp at Horseshoe Hollow' Farm, Washington, June 28-July 9. Campers will explore forests, meadows, rivers and ponds, and study wildlife, plants and ecology. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-12. Tuition is $120.
