Industry, that handy punching ' bag for armchair environmentalists, has addressed itself to the difficult challenge of recycling complex materials such as plastics. In Germany, auto parts are assiduously coded and stamped so that an entire automobile can be recycled when it’s time is up. What must these pioneers think of us, a people living in the midst of thousands of acres of pasture land, who can’t even recycle their own poop?
