Forty-five attended the first John Lewis and Lucy Ann Lillard Revercomb reunion, June 12 enjoying a delicious luncheon at the Flint Hill Public House followed by an open house from 4-7 p.m. given by Nelson and Mary Revercomb at their home Nel-Mar Farm in Peola Mills.

Direct descendants attending were Mrs. Jewell R. Young, Mrs. Lucille R. Gay of Charlottesville. Mr. George Young of Florida, Mrs. Nancy Young of Standardsville, Mr. and Mrs. David McLaughlin and son John of Herndon.

Also Mrs. Arline R. Furlovv of Silver Spring, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bean and Mrs. Jean Spickler of Rockville. Md., Mr. and Mrs. John Furlow of Poolesville, Md.', Mr. William L. Furlow and Ms. Erma Wagoner of Bentonville and Mr. Richard Paul Furlow, all representing the George L. and Clara D. Revercomb family.

Also attending were Mrs. Merle R. Moore of Luray, Dr. and Mrs. William Moore of Chesapeake. Mrs. Hazel R. LeHew, Mr. and Mrs. Steve LeHew, son Steve and daughters Jenny and Lauren, Mr. and Mrs. John Veen and daughter Amanda of Reston and Northern Virginia area, all representing the William H. and Fenton H. Revercomb family.

Also Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb of Sperryville (Peola Mills) son and daughter Randall Hudson and Mary Virginia Revercomb of Arlington representing the J. Grover and Mary W. Revercomb family.

Representing the Gilbert and Gussie R. Weakley family was Mrs. Jean W. Gallihugh of Sperryville (Peola Mills).

Relatives from other Rubincam/Revercomb lines and special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rubincam of West Hyattsville, Md.

Mr. Rubincam is a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists and National Genealogical Society. He spoke on the orgin of the Rubincam/Revercomb families of Pennsylvania and Virginia.
