Groomsmen were Carl Stafford of Culpeper and Dr. Tom Stafford of Ardmore, Oklahoma, brothers of the groom.

Ben Stafford of Culpeper, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.

Usher was Mark Brandt of Fairfax, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at Wilkin’s Ballroom on the campus of Shenandoah University.

Pre-nuptial entertainment included a bridal shower given by Corrinne Smith, a fellow teacher of the bride, a surprise shower given by Darien Roberts, sister of the bride, a luncheon at The Public House in Flint Hill given by Sylvia Brandt, sister of the bride, and a surprise shower given by Mary Stewart and Rosa Brandt, aunt and grandmother of the bride.

A groomsmen dinner was given by Carroll Minor, grandfather of the groom.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom at the home of the bride's parents.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of James Wood High School and a 1991 graduate of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. The past two years she has taught fourth grade at Rappahannock County Elementary School.

The groom is a 1989 graduate of Berea College with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in sculpture. He is currently a graduate student at Southern Illinois University where he is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts Degree.

Following a wedding trip of Tobago in the West Indies, the couple will reside in Hurst, Illinois.
