The supervisors balked at new language proposed for . the agreement with the extension service. Although Rappahannock has never supplemented the state-set salaries of extension agents, other counties have, and the agreement mentions such supplements. The supervisors asked to have this taken out of the agreement last month before approving it. Mr. McCarthy said there was new language in the proposed agreement, but it still mentions supplements.
