Jeffersonton Baptist’s Homecoming is set for Aug. 15. Guest speaker will be Rev. David Brown, a former pastor at Jeffersonton. There will be a covered dish dinner and the Gospel Strings will provide the music. Pastor Braylow welcomes everyone.
The Steve and Annie Chapman concert will be held at 7 p.m. at Fauquier High School on Aug. 28. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door. Groups of 10 or more are $5. Around the village, Barbara and Charlie Gore enjoyed a trip to Chincateague and Assateague Island recently. They took their grandson, Wade Gore, age 6, along with their friend, Mr. Richard Tavenner and his grandson Richard, III, age 8.
