Mr. Caldwell also said his house was only 12 feet from the property line and he has an old dug well right on the property line that he uses when the electricity goes off. He said he did not think the Health Department would allow Faith Mountain to put in septic drain lines where the Woodwards’ proposal shows them because of the well.
He said the Woodwards had not complied with screening proffered as part of their rezoning for the current building. “What do the Woodwards owe the Caldwells, Clarks, and Jenkinses?” he asked. “They are in violation of the screening. You have the right to shut them down. Make them live up to the proffers of the first rezoning application.”
He said that the Comprehensive Plan calls for existing commercially zoned land to be developed before more land is zoned commercial.
