LOCATION: |4iddleburg Agricultural Experiment Station POSITION: Agricultural Technician B STARTING SALARY: Base $16.458 RESPONSIBIUTIES/QIIALIFIGATIONS: The Technician will participate in all the activities of a horse research farm, with emphasis on the care of horses, collection of biological samples, administration of drugs, application of bandages; assistance in foaling and breeding, evaluation of body condition and feeding, maintenance of stables, pastures and equipment. Desired attributes include an ability to work harmoniously with others and under all weather conditions. Work week is 40 hours with occassional overtime; holiday and weekend work are required on rotation. A veterinary technician qualification is an advantage.
