Gertie and Paul Polling are very proud of daughters Judie Graham and Gheryl Taylor and grandchildren Emily and Brian Taylor for their recognition at last week’s nearby Prince William County Fair.
Judie had eight decorated egg entries and won eight blue ribbons. She also won “Best of Show.”
Gertie had eight items herself and won five ribbons. Cheryl had five items and won 4 ribbons; Emily had 13 items and won 11 ribbons; and Brian had 9 items and won 5 ribbons. Congratulations to all the family! I know Paul is proud of you, too.

Jeffesonton Community Center has announced plans for their annual fall festival and craft fair, in conjuction with the Jeffersonton Ruritan Club’s annual BBQ to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 9.
