“The World of Quilting," and invitational exhibition of 3(> paintings, pastels and drawing will be presented at Belle Grove Plantation, Middletown, from Saturday Sept. 1 through Sunday, Sept. 19. The theme of the exhibition was chosen to reflect Belle Grove’s continuing celebration of the 1993 Year of American Craft. The artists invited to participate in the exhibition will present works in realistic, impressionistic and abstract styles.
Exhibition entries juried by Linda Crocker Simmons, Associate Curator of the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, I).C. They will be judged by Bettye Chumley, owner of the Shenandoah Fine Arts Gallery in Winchester. Cash prizes of $500
