Norman Reunion
The annual Norman reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 29 at the Rappahannock Park on U.S. 211 in Washington. A picnic lunch will be served at the pavilion rain or shine at 1 p.m.
All relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please bring.a covered dish and a beverage. Plates, cups and plastic utensils will be provided. “This event only happens once a year, so please bring the whole family for a relaxing afternoon of great food, fun and friendship,” said a family spokesperson.
Estate Planning Seminar
The Rappahannock Farmer’s Association is hosting its fourth program on estate planning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9 with local attorney Allen Olson as guest speaker. The program will offer comprehensive information ont the options available to preserving estates, the importance of a will that meets the individual needs of families, and the tools available for keeping farms in families.

EMT Course At Flint Hill
An Emergency Medical Technician-A course will be conducted at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department from 7-10 p.m. on Monday and Thursday evenings. The course will begin Sept. 9 and the only cost of this program is the required text books. Pre-registration is required. Call 675-3091 to register or to obtain additional information.
Auction Items Sought
The Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is accepting items for their upcoming auction on Oct. 9. The auction will benefit the fire department. Items can be donated by calling 675-3615 or 675-3844 for pickup by fire department members.
