At Potomac State
Tyrone T. Starks of Washington has been accepted for admission to Potomac State College for the fall term beginning Aug. 23.
Potomac State College is the only residential junior college branch of West Virginia University and is located in Keyser, W. Va.
A fully-accredited liberal arts college. Potomac State offers an Associate in Arts degree in 14 per-professional fields and 20 acres in arts and sciences.
Students may complete the preliminary requirements in many academic fields at Potomac State before transferring to larger colleges to finish their bachelor’s degree.
Associate in Applied Science degrees are awarded in six career areas and there are several options within each degree area.
Starks received his secondary education at Rappahannock County High School. His program of study at Potomac State is Computer Science.
Tyrone is the son of Selena Jordan of Washington and Thomas Starks, Jr. of Woodville and the grandson of Edith Jordan, also of Washington.
