Many members participated by bringing arrangements or horticulture specimens to the meeting. The subject for artistic arrangements was a basket suitable for a picnic table.

Carol Miller was awarded a blue ribbon for her colorful display in this category.

Horticulture was either floral or vegetable, and the blue ribbon for the best flower specimen was won by Pauline Bruce who displayed a handsome Dahlia.

Various vegetables were exhibited and Club members Ruth Baumgardner, Dot Mank, Pauline Bruce and Mary Revercomb each collected a blue ribbon.
