James Williams
James Franklin Williams of Manassas, died on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at Prince William Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E’. Williams of Jeffersonton; two daughters, Corinda Payne of Manassas and Sharon Williams of Arlington and three sons, James Williams Jr. of Culpeper, Douglas Williams and Mitchell Williams, both of Manassas.
Additional survivors include four brothers, Thomas Williams of Amissville, Samuel Williams of Warrenton, John Williams of Catlett and Mitchell K. Williams of Amissville; one sister, Mary Lawson of Amissville; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 21 at Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville with the Rev. Forrest Freeman officiating.
Interment was in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Amissville.
W.C: Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Andrew Burke
Andrew Levis Burke, 79, of Catlett died Thursday, Aug. 19 at his residence.
Mr. Burke was bom in Rappahannock County on May 17, 1914.
He was a retired custodian of public schools.
