The Administrative Board of the Sperryville United Methodist Church met last Monday night at the home of Mrs. Emma Swindler.

Those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb of Flint Hill, Julian Brown, Hugh Chrisman, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers, Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland, Mrs. Polly Aylor and Mrs. Annabelle Swindler.

Anniversary wishes to out to my parents Mr. and Mrs. Bernard L. Jenkins who will celebrate 41 years together on Saturday, March 12.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne of Warrenton were Saturday guests of the latter’s mother Mrs. Catherine Brown.

Mrs. T.M. Johnston was a Sunday overnight guest of Mrs. Harry Willoughby in Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lee Swindler of Carlyle, Pa. are receiving congratulations on the birth of their son Colton Michael bom of Feb. 18. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Addison Lee Swindler of Hanover, Pa. and great-grandmother is Mrs. Emma Swindler.

Mrs. Ruth Kiger and Angie and Mrs. Magdalene Dwyer were Monday guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins.
