Rappahannock

The Fauquier Free Clinic officially opened its doors to the people of Rappahannock County March 1.' Seeing an unserved population ih that area, the Free Clinic decided to extend its services to Rappahannock County residents.

“Culpeper and Fauquier both have free clinics, and the people in Warren County use the free clinic if) Winchester,” said Linda Coit, Administrator of the Fauquier Free Clinic.

“The people of Rappahannock were not being served by any Of these clinics, and we saw that there was a real need we’re trying to meet.”

The Fauquier Free Clinic has been in operation since July 1993, and has seen several hundred par tients since it began offering free services to those who cannot afford medical care. The clinic sees about 20 patients per week, and has become the primary care giver fqr many patients who use it on a reguT lar basis.
