positive attitudes from the Lions Club, judges, media, school and the public, you are not going to get the performers.

There is so much talent in the schools and this county in the arts. More and more we are ignoring the fact that the arts are very important in the education process. It is a fact that a student who participates in the arts excels much more than the student who does not. We also need to see more in our newspapers about what’s going on in our schools concerning the arts. i

Can you imagine not seeing the beautiful art that surrounds us? Can you imagine the silence of no music? I can’t. We need more music and art in our schools. It is essential.
