Mayor Morehouse, Mr. Gooch, Susan Parrish and Brad Fisher voted for the motion; Janice Moffett and Mark Bailey abstained; and Mr. Miller voted against it.
Doris Critzer, who had unsuccessfully run in the last Town Council election, said, “What about the rumors spread door to door? I did not find it funny either.”
