Survivors include a step-son, William K. Edwards of Amissville; three step-daughters, Evelyn Turner of Silver Spring, Md., Shirley Edward and Gladys Smith, both of Richmond; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-granchildren and nine greatgreat-granchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 20 at Bethel Church.

Arrangements are being handled by W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper.

Elsie Partlowe

Elsie P. Partlowe, 64, of Front Royal died Monday, May 16 in the Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 19 at the Maddox Funeral Home by the Rev. Cecil Jones.

Burial will follow at the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Partlowe was bom Aug. 13, 1929, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Robert Isreal and Leila Burke Presgraves.

Surviving are two sons, Owen Partlowe, Jr. of Linden and William Arthur Eastham, Jr. of Burke; a daughter, Nancy Ann Wines of Locust Grove; three brothers, George Presgraves and Charles Presgraves, both of Flint Hill and Claude Presgraves of Jessup, Md.; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Dodson of Fairfax and Katherine Blouch of Lebanon, Pa.; nine grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Seal, Reed Dodson, Allen Wines, Ray Wines, Chucky Presgraves and Douglas L. Partlowe, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18.
