Dance At Amissville

The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, May 21 with the band Royal Tones. For reservations call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.

Choral Concerts

The RCES Choir will have their Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26 in the RCES Auditorium.

Band Gala

The third annual Band Gala will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 in the RCES Auditorium. The evening will begin with the RCHS Band performing “Bridgewater March” and “Canticle,” featuring clarinet soloist David Pierce. Next the RCES Beginning Band will play three pieces including “Second Ending Blues.” Finally, you’ll hear the ligh-hearted “School Bus Blues” by the RCES Gold Band. The evening will conclude with a finale of fifty musicians performing an enthralling “Legend of Fort Apache.”

Art Exhibit

Art exhibit by Palmer Smith at Spring Mountain School, showing works in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Fifty percent of all sales to benefit the school. Call 675-1458 for more information.
