POSITION ON THE RAPPAHANNOCK

COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with §22.1-29.1 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, that the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing on Monday, June 6, 1994, at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA, to consider nominations for the position of School Board member from Stonewall-Hawthorn District, sad position currently being held by Dr. John Tole. In accordance with §22.1-57.3 (C) of the Code ofVirginia, the term of office shall end on December 31, 1995 (popularly-elected School Board terms commence January 1,1996). The Board of Supervisors shall consider all candidates who are proposed at this public hearing, and shall then appoint their selection from among those nominated, at a meeting to be held on Monday, June 21,1994, at 7:00 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, VA. All persons interested in being considered for this position, or who wish to propose another for the post, are urged to attend and to make comment
