After losing his workshop space to a fire on April 24, Tom von Fange has bounced back and is now set up temporarily in the Fletchers’ airplane hangar on Rt. 231, just a short distance from his former workshop.
His business is named “Antique * Tables Made Daily”,
“We only lost one day of work due to the fire,” said Kevin LeVan, ■ one of Mr. von Fange’s two employees who helps him with the woodworking. He said that all of the .paperwork burned up, including customers’ written orders. That meant that they didn’t know who had ordered what, customers’ phone numbers, or anything else.
He said that eventually when customers began calling to find out |he status of their order and were told of the fire, every one was understanding about the situation.
Mr. von Fange said that the fire Started around 2:30 a.m. He was awakened by multiple phone calls, which he didn’t answer, thinking they were prank calls. He finally answered and it was the Sheriffs Office telling him that his workshop was in flames.
He said that after the fire was put out and the trucks had left, it started again in the front room of the building around 7:30 a.m. The trucks
