Emergency Tests

— * The school system will be running - ^ - tests of emergency response procedures next week.

The tests will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, May 23 at the high school and at the elementary school from 1:40-2:40 on Tuesday, May 24.

The school system wants the public to know these tests are scheduled and not to become alarmed if they hear emergency vehicles being dispatched to the schools

Several openings remain for the All Net Basketball day camps at RCHS. Elememtary campers will be in session from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 27 through July 1. High School camp will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 21 through June 25. For more information call Coach Gary Leake at 987-8575.

Farmers' Scholarship

The Rappahannock Farmers Association will offer a $500 scholarship for a student at Lord Fairfax Community College during the 1994-95 school year.

Applicants must be county residents studying agriculture or in related fields. They must maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

Interested students can apply by writing to the Rappahannock Farmers’ Association, P.O. Box 576, Flint Hill, VA 22627. Letters should describe the applicants area of study and reason for requesting the scholarship.

Applications must be received by June 8. during these hours.
