Meeting The Original Alumni of George Washington Carver Regional High School in Rapidan (1948-1967 students from * Cuilpeper, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties) will hold a back : to school membership meeting at the school which is now George Washington Carver-Piedmont Technical Education center from 3 -7 p.m. on Saturday, September 3,1994, and also from 3-7 p.m. Saturday September 10 at Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, Arlington. Park Employees Battling Fires in the West Twenty-seven firefighters from v Shenandoah National Park are presently ; engaged in battling wildfires in one of the worst fire seasons in recent memory in the ' western states of Montana, Oregon, ; Wyoming, and Washington. Because of the large commitment of resources, some services in Shenandoah ; National Park may need to be curtailed. “We will continue to support fire suppression activities in the West until • current severe fire conditions improve,” said Park Superintendent J. W. Wade.
