Julia Boddie
Julia Ernestine Sims Boddie, 80, of Washington died on Monday, Aug. 16 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Lou Boddie; one granddaughter, Sherron Nicole Boddie; two foster care sons, Christopher McClear and Abraham McClear of the home in Washington; one brother, Samuel “Jack” Gray of Norfolk and a host of friends.
Mrs. Boddie was a retired teacher having taught in Cartersville, Va. and Rappahannock County School systems for over 37 years.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Washington with Pastor Dr. Wendall R. Grant, officiating.
Interment was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Washington.

Phyllis Morris
Phyllis Williams Morris, 65, of Front Royal died Wednesday, Aug. 17 at her home.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the TumerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. James Burke, officiating. Interment was in the Williams Cemetery, Chester Gap.
Mrs. Morris was born on Aug. 17,1929, in' Chester Gap, the daughter of the late Ernest Ashby and Nettie Lee Williams. Mrs. Morris was a member of the Chester Gap Baptist Church and Postmistress of the Chester Gap Post Office for 14 years. ,
