group, Osha Berry read 11,181 pages. Alyssa Berry was second with 8,174 pages. Rachel Sharp was third with 3,103 pages.

During the final program, Georgia Gilpin of The Rappahannock National Bank presented a check for $1,000 to the library. This was the result of a challenge grant issued by the bank to the participants of the reading program. The bank pledged $1 for every two books read up to $1,000. The children readily accepted the challenge and read 2945 books! All of the participants had a wonderful time this summer reading and attending the programs.
