Most people seem to love the movie. However, pediatricians, child psychologists and some critics have all managed to agree that this movie is too mature for the rating it has been given and the audience it tries to appeal to. Why? Simply the fact that most three and four year old’s don’t cope to well with the sights and sounds of murder.
Maybe I’m just not intelligent enough for G rated movies, but no matter what the reason was I still left the theater totally and completely confused about the cartoon I had just sat through. To start off all the names just sort of came together and got all mixed up in my head. The only names I really remember are Symba and Scar however I have no earthly idea who or even what Symba was.
