Seminar Planned
The Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center (LFSBDC) will present a special seminar for military veterans on Tuesday, Sept. 13. The seminar entitled “Starting a Small Business” will provide an overview of the considerations in starting a new business including the sources of financing.
The seminar will be held from 7 to 9:15 p.m. at Lord Fairfax Community College, Middletown campus. The registration fee for the seminar is $10. For more information and to register for the seminar call 869-6649.

Workshop Planned
A seminar on banner-making and needlework in religious art, entitled - Making Art to Express Our Faith - will be given by Fredericksburg artist, Kay Darling, M.T.S., B.F.S., lecturer, teacher, consultant, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper.
