Fauquier Community Theatre will present the musical, The Secret Garden the first three weekends in May at The LOFT, beside the Post Office at 9 North Third St. in Old Town Warrenton.
Pulitzer prize author Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon’s lyrical shimmering music have generated a grand Toni Award production that had its World Premeire at Virginia Stage Company (Norfolk) in the 1980s before going to Broadway.
The FCT production will be directed by Eddie Schwartz of Warrenton, and will feature a very strong vocal cast from across Northern Virginia. The Secret Garden is about the healing power of love, and the miracle of rebirth. The score creates a world where lost loves are found, lost lives are saved, spring comes again.
