She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Marshall Burford and Calvin Spens Burford.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, William Edwin Woodroof, Jr and his wife Christine H. Woodroof of Chester, a daughter Patricia Ann Salmon and her husband Christopher B. Salmon of Flint Hill and two brothers, George Stuart Burford of Keswick and William Hoskins Burford of Colonial Heights.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren Stuart Salmon, Timothy Salmon, Deirdre Hayes, Dawn Tillett, Wendy Hall, Spens Woodroof and Madison Woodroof and five greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 16 at Elon Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Barry Tucker. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Albert Settle
Albert Taylor Settle, 68, of Culpeper, died on Monday, April 15 at the Culpeper Health Care Center.
He was born May 14, 1927, in . Rappahannock County to the late Silas William Settle and Carrie Martin Settle.
Survivors include three sisters, Ella Rutherford of Castleton, Nina Parker of Amissville and Marie Brown of Culpeper.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Settle was preceded in death: by five brothers, James Settle, John Settle, Charlie Settle, Otha Settle and Grover Settle and two sisters, Janie Settle and Myrtle Settle.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 18 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev.Milton J. Switzer officiating.! Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. *
Pallbearers named are Bill Settle, Charles Settle, Raymond Brown, Ronnie Parker, D. Lee Hitt, Alait Knighting, Frank Settle and Elmer Parker. !

Elizabeth McBride:
Elizabeth Ann McBride, 85, of Sunny Slope Home for Adults of Flint Hill, and formerly of Amissville died Tuesday, at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Mrs. McBride was bom Dec. 16, 1910, in Washington, Pennsylvania.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. McBride Jr.
Surviving by one son, Riain dele Brigit of Amissville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal.
