several DARE classes were given, a luncheon was held in one of the ballrooms for all attending the DARE Summit. There was live music and an Honor Guard from Washington, D.C. After lunch was served, which included “Kids” lunches (chicken fingers) and adult lunches (swordfish), General Barry McCaffrey, the “Drug Czar” from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, spoke to the group.
Gen. McCaffrey said that 70 percent of drug users are employed and that they are wrecking the workplace. “You can see the destruction of the American family,” he said.
