struck an embankment and over* turned, doing $10,000 damage to his vehicle. Mr. Knight had minor injuries, but Alfred Lucas Jr., a passenger in the van, was transported to a hospital with injuries. Trooper Knick charged Mr. Knight with reckless driving.
A four vehicle accident occurred on Route S22, .3 mile south of Route 662 in Huntly last Saturday afternoon. A 1988 Chevy driven by Honey Knave, 21, of Huntly had stopped in order to make a left hand turn. Behind her, a 1981 Audi driven by Shawn Marie Roach, 18, of Winchester, slowed down, and behind Ms. Roach, a 1992 Ford van driven by David Myers, 47, of Culpeper, hit his brakes and hit Ms. Roach’s car, pushing it into Ms. Knave’s car. Ricky Thom, 32, of Culpeper, was travelling in a 1976 Oldsmobile behind Mr. Myers, hit his brakes, and ran into the back of Mr. Myers’s van. Mr. Myers was charged by Trooper Chuck Moore with reckless driving.
Ms. Knave’s car had $1,500 damage; Ms. Roach’s had $1,250 damage; Mr. Myers’s van had $2,000 damage and Mr. Thorh’s Olds had $200 damage.
