On April 9 at 11 a.m., Franklin Miller Jr., 36, of Luray, as charged by Trooper Sean Knick with failing to yield the right of way in an accident that took place on Route 626 near Route 668 in Washington. According to Sgt. Harry Newlin of the State Police, Mr. Miller drove his 1989 Ford into the path of a 1971 Chevy pickup driven by Ennis Norman, 53, of Castleton, on Route 668, causing Mr. Norman to strike a house which belongs to Paul Baldwin. The house incurred $100 damage, Mr. Norman’s pickup had $1,500 damage and Mr. Miller’s car had $2,000 damage.
