After the Panthers allowed one unearned run in the first inning, Jon coasted through the rest of the game. “I didn’t feel 1 had my best stuff working,” he said. “My curve ball was on, and I was successful in pitching to locations. I was really happy to get my first win. It felt good.”

A pitcher’s balk sent Tommy Settle to second base. Griffin Ward reached first base on another Mason error. Another balk scored Tommy and sent Griffin to second. Mike Mills replaced Griffin at second, and Chris Sealock doubled to score Mills.
Wednesday night the Panthers lost to Stonewall Jackson by a score of 18 to 9.
