received two Technical Assistance Grants, one to attend a multi-media seminar in Dance Documentation at Ohio State University and one to participate in the National Festival of the Image in Manizales, Colombia.
Finally, Rappahannock County High School received an Artist-inEducation grant for Laurie Marshall to create a portable mural and performance piece with the students centering on conflict resolution skills. The project is part of RCHS’ first year of peer mediation training. Cameroon Dancer Paul Kengmo, Julie Portman and Sharon Wyrrick will also consult on this venture. The students’ work will be a part of the 19$7 International Conference on Conflict Resolution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
